Things That Are Cool

I’m not an expert on this whole Internet thing, but it seems to me that the archetypical blogging equation is:

funny anecdote + industry tie-in = increased pageviews

But nothing exciting or interesting happened to me this week. I was bored. What to do about this week’s post? Well, one thing I do know a little bit about is magazines. And, when magazines need content, they make lists.

So, here goes nothing.

Five Things That Are Cool:

1) S&S Activewear always sends me images, on discs, ahead of my editorial schedule. Big ups to Terri Scales from The Tercet Group.

2) Puppies.

3) Our February issue. In my humble opinion, it’s our coolest, most informative issue ever.

4) My publisher likes this blog. I’m not convinced anyone else is reading, but my boss is and, let’s face it, that’s what really counts!

5) The Karen Callan Designs line from Woodbury, New York-based Leeman Designs. They’re high-end leather promotions, but cute and classy enough that I would absolutely buy them in the store. Don’t just take my word for it: www.leemandesigns.com

What’s going on in your lives that’s particularly cool? Write in your top five, or even your top one, below.

That’s all for this week, although, now I’m kind of worried that I’ve thrown my cards on the table too soon. This “I have nothing to write about” schtick can only work once.
