The 5 Days of Blogmas

Merry Blogmas everyone! It’s that special time of year where bloggers all around the world gather up their favorite posts of the year and gift them onto all the good little boys and girls. Since you all have been such great readers this year, I will do my blogging-elf best and bestow on you all my five favorite blogs from this year:

  1. 5 Tips on Selling to Small Businesses (from Someone that Runs One)
A favorite from my own blog, it contains a link to one of the more interesting business advice articles I’ve read this year.
  2. Top 3 Ways to Increase Your Order Size
Rosalie Marcus has written a ton of great blogs for our site, and I would actually recommend reading all of them, but this one in particular I think is especially helpful. A quick, clear read, it offers a few easy tips on bolstering your order sizes.
  3. NYFW – The Trends You Need to Know for Spring 2012
Our in-house fashion superstar Colleen McKenna breaks down 2011’s New York Fashion Week, pulling out concise, practical style details (such as color and fit) important for 2012 and beyond.
  4. The Inevitability Of Change
My favorite blog from Brent Stone, executive director of operations for the Quality Certification Alliance. Brent wrote a lot of thoughtful pieces on product safety for us, but this one is my favorite for its interesting take on adapting to change and responding to the mounting legal hurdles and government jabs our industry is facing more and more.
  5. Trademark Infringement: 8 Ways to Protect Your Business
In light of the Obama Campaign’s lawsuit against Washington Promotions and Printing, our very own wise and resourceful Kyle Richardson gathered up eight handy legal tips to keep your own company out of trademark trouble. Pulled from an interview with a real lawyer, the advice is possibly as detailed as you can get without paying for your own consult. Definitely worth a read!

Thanks for reading everyone, both today and for every week prior this year! I appreciate your time and interest a lot, it’s what pays my rent, fills my stomach, and keeps me clacking away at a keyboard for a living, which is something that I love dearly and am grateful for every day. I hope my writing was a help to you this year, and look forward to what we can learn together in 2012.

Like my blog? Why not follow PM on Twitter or Facebook (or just me on RSS or LinkedIn) so you never miss a post? Thanks!

MONDAY MIKE FACT: I’m doing 4,000 percent of my X-mas shopping through Amazon.com this year. Hooray for the internet!
