Tekweld, Farmingdale, N.Y., added Aram Tessier to its executive team. Tessier will fulfill the role of chief operating officer and executive vice president of manufacturing.
An industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, Tessier has worked in every facet of the promotional products industry and will now focus on keeping Tekweld running smoothly.
Tessier comes to Tekweld from another industry supplier, where he helped develop, grow and streamline its production processes.
“Joining the Tekweld team is an exciting new journey that I am eager to be on,” said Tessier, who will also oversee the move to the company’s new facility, beginning this fall.
President and CEO Taylor Tadmor said that Tessier’s years of experience filling key operational roles make him an ideal candidate to fill this new position.
“Tekweld has grown exponentially over the past several years, and having a seasoned professional like Aram will only help us grow in the future,” said Tadmor. “We are truly happy that he has joined our team.”
Tessier will be located at the company’s new facility in Hauppauge, N.Y., and will manage Tekweld’s day-to-day internal business operations, including manufacturing, customer service, order entry, logistics, human resources and partnerships.
