ETS Express Inc. recently announced the appointment of Daniel Jordan as its new vice president of marketing. Mr. Jordan brings more than 25 years of technology and marketing experience along with over 15 years direct industry-related experience to his new role at the Oxnard, California-based company.
Jordan previously served as president and creative director for CamberDay consulting, a technology and design firm specializing in emerging media, digital print and web-based technology solutions for the promotional products industry. More recently, Jordan was director of marketing and digital communications for Los Angeles-based Americhip. Jordan is being brought in to extend ETS’s digital marketing and traditional marketing capabilities.

Astor Chocolate has hired Charles G. Duggan II, MAS, as national accounts manager, corporate sales division. In this new role, Duggan will be responsible for growing revenue through wider distribution of Astor Chocolate gifts and giveaway items through the company’s distributor partners.

Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), the world’s largest and oldest international not-for-profit promotional products association, in conjunction with the Regional Association Council (RAC), is offering disaster relief in the form of the Promotional Products Disaster Recovery Foundation Business Recovery Fund to assist promotional products industry members and non-members seriously affected by the impact of Hurricane Sandy.

In its annual fundraising campaign, Newton, Iowa-based The Vernon Company raised a total of $24,272 for the United Way of Jasper County.
Corporate-office employees raised $16,671 through a series of fundraising efforts, including raffle drawings, a silent auction, a walking taco lunch, a used office-equipment sale, “Vernon Survivor” games, and employee and retiree pledge card donations. The Vernon Company supported employees’ fundraising efforts, pledging a $7,500 match towards the campaign.
