CPSC Recalls Children’s Toys for Choking, Laceration Hazards

Two toys from two different companies were recalled last week. In conjunction with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Family Dollar Services Inc., Matthews, N.C. recalled the Tough Treadz Auto Carrier as the die-cast metal cars have sharp edges that post a laceration hazard. Also, Houston-based LS Import Inc. recalled Airplane and Butterfly Push Toys since the wheel’s and tip of the butterflies’ antennas can detach, causing a choking hazard.
